Data controller and contact

The data controller is StylBot. For requests about your personal data (access, correction, deletion, or other rights), contact us at info@stylbot.com or via our contact page.

What we collect and how we use it

StylBot processes data you provide: account information, workspace and baseline content, and check run text (when storage is enabled). We use this to provide the service: authentication, baseline generation, style checks, and history. We do not sell your data. We process this data where necessary to perform our contract with you, and where applicable for our legitimate interests or with your consent. Where we need your data to perform the contract, providing it is necessary; if you do not provide it, you may not be able to use the service. We use measures intended to protect your data; no system is completely secure.

Retention

Retention is configurable. You can disable storage of run text and set retention days. Data beyond the retention period is deleted or anonymized by automated cleanup. We retain account and billing information as required for legal and operational purposes.

Third-party processors

Your data may be processed by third-party service providers. When you use style checks or baseline generation, the text you submit is sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) so they can perform that processing on our behalf. We also use infrastructure providers (e.g. Supabase, Vercel) for hosting and authentication. We rely on these providers’ commitments for subprocessing.

International transfers

Your data may be processed outside the UK and European Economic Area by our subprocessors. We rely on their commitments for such processing.

Cookies and technical data

We use necessary cookies and similar technologies for authentication and to operate the service (e.g. session, preferences). We use Mixpanel for product analytics (e.g. usage and feature interaction). We send Mixpanel identifiers such as user ID, email, name, and device or session identifiers. We also use session recording (e.g. mouse movement, clicks); it does not capture on-screen text or other confidential content. Mixpanel’s privacy policy is at mixpanel.com/legal/privacy-policy. We use Google Tag (gtag.js) for advertising and conversion measurement; Google’s privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy. We use Vercel Speed Insights to collect anonymised performance metrics (e.g. page load speed) to improve the site.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data, or object to or restrict certain processing, by contacting us at the details above. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time by contacting us. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) in the UK or your local supervisory authority in the EEA.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
